Background

I began my career at age four, working alongside family as a street vendor in New York City. From elementary school through the end of high school, the sidewalks of this city were my first professional environment — where I learned to read people quickly, manage conflict calmly, and deliver consistent service regardless of conditions. I interacted daily with every conceivable kind of person: tourists, professionals, city workers, difficult customers, and regulars who became something like a community. I was never sheltered from the complexity of real professional life. That education is irreplaceable.

I hold a B.S. in Computer Science from Hunter College, CUNY, and CompTIA A+, earned February 2026. I am currently pursuing Security+ and additional infrastructure certifications.

My work spans IT infrastructure, workflow automation, and digital solutions — built for organizations that operate at a high standard. I'm available for consulting engagements, project work, and select full-time roles in technology and IT across the legal, financial, and institutional sectors in New York City.

I'm guided by the conviction that work is a privilege, not a given — and that anything worth doing is worth doing at the highest level possible. That standard is non-negotiable regardless of the task at hand.

Experience

Hunter College  ·  Public Safety

Visitor Center Associate

August 2024 – Present

Operate Andover Continuum PACS and EasyLobby access control systems at one of New York City's premier public universities, providing direct support to 200+ visitors daily — including VIP guests and the President's Office. Enforce institutional access protocols in a high-traffic, high-accountability environment, serving as the first point of contact and the last line of responsibility for who enters the building.

Independently selected to develop a web-based training simulator for the department — a project that required legal clearance through multiple institutional levels including the Director of Public Safety, Chief of Staff, Human Resources, and CUNY General Counsel. The clearance process alone was a meaningful exercise in institutional navigation and professional credibility.
